CODE OF CONDUCT

The Principal of an Institution should always
  • Ensure quality in education and academic activities.
  • Chalk out policy and plan to execute the vision and mission of the college.
  • Form various college level committees and appoint co-ordinators.
  • Convene meetings of different Cells as and when required.
  • Monitor financial matters efficiently.
  • Motivate teachers to enhance their knowledge by attending various trainings.
  • Listen to the student’s ideas and set a supportive tone.
  • Carry himself/herself with the highest integrity and has to exhibit outstanding and strong leadership skills.
  • Be fair in his/her actions for all the members of faculty, non-teaching staff and students.
  • Execute any other qualitative and quantitative work for the welfare of the institution.
  • The heads of departments should strive to lead manage and develop the department.
  • Should prepare the academic plan for every semester (or annual academic year, as the case may be) and should monitor or ensure proper implementation of the same in continual time frame manner.
  • To frame timetable and distribution of workload for proper implementation of the desired teaching outcomes.
  • To monitor and ensure classes are held according to the timetable.
  • Should be responsible for ensuring the educational progress and welfare of the students.
  • Should endeavour to involve them self along with the faculty members in the process of curriculum development and delivery.
  • Should supervise the attendance of the students in the classes both theory and practical.
  • Should strive to contribute to the overall development of the faculties of each student through the organisation of socially relevant task, their personality development, competition etc .
  • To conduct periodic meetings of faculty to plan and review department activities.
  • To arrange guest lectures, industrial visits, and webinars to encourage students to gain practical knowledge.
  • Consider students grievances and try to resolve them through ethical academic practice to monitor department/laboratory maintenance (where available).
  • To monitor and ensure the overall development of both slow and fast learners.

  • Maintain dignity and decorum of the post.
  • Report to duty at least 10 minutes in advance.
  • Adhere strictly to the laws and regulations of the college.
  • Remain on duty during college hours.
  • Respect and maintain the hierarchy in the Administration.
  • Must wear an outfit which is in tune with our culture, which must be decent and presentable.
  • Maintain honesty, integrity, fairness in all activities.
  • Exercise self-discipline and restrain at all times and deal positively with staff, students and the general public.
  • Must not divulge official secrets, mutilate, expunge, conceal, alter or forge official documents / receipts.
  • Uphold the honour and dignity of the teaching profession.
  • Provide an innovative and quality education to students
  • Be impartial and non-discriminative against students. Help, guide, encourage and assist students in their learning.
  • Avoid applying leave during the examinations (both External and Internal). Invigilation duties are part and parcel of academics.
  • Must take up any work assigned by the management, head of the institution without refusal, in the interest of the institution.
  • Actively involve with the students in co-curricular and extracurricular activities.
  • Prepare teaching plan of the allotted subjects.
The following traits are expected from the Non-teaching staff. He / She must
  • Report to duty in advance.
  • Remain on duty during college hours.
  • Adhere strictly to the laws and regulations of the college.
  • Respect and maintain the hierarchy in the Administration.
  • Maintain honesty, integrity, fairness in all activities.
  • Exercise self-discipline and restrain at all times and deal positively with staff, students and the general public.
  • Must not divulge official secrets, mutilate, expunge, conceal, alter or forge official documents / receipts
  • Must not intercept or misappropriate college money.
  • Must not be absent from duty without official approval of leave.
  • Must be willing to stay beyond the college hours when the nature of work entails in the interest of the institution.
Student should
  • Be punctual and should maintain discipline in the college.
  • Get at least 75% of attendance, if not he/she is not eligible to appear for the examination, as per the university rule.
  • Advised to utilize facilities available in our college properly.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the campus.
  • Advised to participate in all the programmes and activities conducted by the college. Ragging is strictly prohibited.
  • Not involve in any kind of illegal activities.
  • Not allowed to use mobiles in the classroom and library.
  • Protect property of the college.
  • Not remain absent without prior permission.
